New Short Film Premiere: Pedestrians Prohibited Blues
Proud to announce that my latest micro short film, Pedestrians Prohibited Blues, will premiere at the Octopus Marquee Film Festival in 2025.
In this micro short film, directed by Kyle Kolding and produced by Mario Iochpe, we explore a gritty black-and-white Los Angeles through an unconventional lens. Shot on 16mm Tri-X film with a Beaulieu R16 and Angénieux 12–220mm zoom, the piece captures fleeting, atmospheric moments across the city. Featuring a lo-fi blues soundtrack recorded during an impromptu street session on a discarded out-of-tune piano and a nearby saxophonist who requested anonymity, Pedestrians Prohibited Blues is a brief but textured portrait of urban isolation crafted from abandoned components of a documentary, otherwise doomed to the cutting room floor.
Thanks for all the support, and keep an eye out for what’s next!

A surreal short film made by Patrick Phelps and Kyle Kolding telling the tale of life told through the eyes of a snail. When a branch snaps in the wind, the snail is thrown into a world of terror, madness, insanity and redemption. Shot in infrared and visible spectrum, this film attempts to show you something you've never seen before. Featuring music by Arizona based band decker.
The Deal
In this oddball short directed by Mario Iochpe and starring Joshua Heredia and Randy J. Shams, a deal is negotiated on the outskirts of town. An addiction is fed. An awkward conversation occurs. Shot at sunset in gorgeous Sedona, AZ, this short manages to ignore the most beautiful scenery and instead focus on the small, strange, and perhaps a little sad.
